Suspense (1942–1962)

“Radio’s outstanding theater of thrills” lived up to its name. Suspense showcased Hollywood stars and razor-sharp scripts that turned the airwaves into an arena of dread.
Alfred Hitchcock introduced the premiere episode, and from then on, the program became a blueprint for tension — subtle, psychological, and relentless. It remains one of the longest-running and most influential radio dramas in broadcast history.
